You may have come across an error code indicating error 6104 pro tools. There are several ways to solve this problem. We will talk about this in the near future.
PC running slow?
Bug -6104: CPU usage usually does not allow USB audio transfer. Remove some plugins, remove some tracks, or increase the “H / W buffer size”, usually in the play engine dialog box “
I still get errors here, sometimes after just 1 minute of recording, brand new PT sessions with 2 tracks, no sockets and 800 samples buffer size. My reader is always set to MBox (not Pro Aggregate Tools I / O). I get this skill error even though the Pro Tools System Usage window says CPU utilization is less than 4% and RAM is less than 20%.
I know this is a common functional issue and is reputedly the result of most workstation tweaks. Please check my signature so thatknow my exact requests. I have followed all the Avid optimization steps listed here (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/t…/Optimize-10-9) without success.
This machine will be brand new with OSX ProTools running and installed. I got this error when using multiple target wobbles. My latest update is the new LaCie solid state drive connected via Thunderbolt. Since one mistake mentions USB audio in general, I think a good Thunderbolt drive is not to blame. I’ve read rumors that all USB3 ports are to blame; I also tested this by working with a USB2 hub (http://www.iogear.com/product/GUH285/) between my USB3 port and my MBOX connected to iLok. It might not matter.
I have reinstalled the MBox drivers several times. I finished. No offers? Thanks !

Stop CPU Usage Errort USB sound. Uninstall some plugins, delete some tracks, maybe increase the “H / W Buffer Size” in the Playback Engine dialog box “
I keep seeing this error, sometimes after just 1 minute of recording, in PT sessions for starters with tracks, two final plugins, and a buffer size between 1024 samples. My reading truck is set to MBox (not Pro Aggregate Tools I / O). I get this error even though Pro Tools System Usage indicates that CPU utilization never exceeds 4% and memory is 20% or less.
I know this is a common problem and many agree that this is the end product of workstation customization. You can find my exact characteristics in my signature. I followed all the steps listed here to optimize Avid, but now with no success (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/t…/Optimize-10-9).
This technology is completely new and allows new installations of OSX and ProTools. I got an error when using a combination of drive targets. My latest update is the new LaCie SSD Force, connected via Thunderbolt. Since all errors mention USB audio, I think mythunderbolt is not to blame. I’ve read rumors that you may be to blame for the USB3 ports; I also tested this with a USB2 hub (http://www.iogear.com/product/GUH285/) regarding the USB3 of my port and my MBOX and iLok. This is not a difference with the manufacturer. Recently installed
Used MBox drivers several times. My wisdom has come to an end. No offers? Thanks !
